One Bedroom Available in Shared Cap Hill/Cheesman Park Penthouse Condo!

My roommate Josh and I are looking to fill one bedroom in the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom penthouse condo that we have been renting for the last year in Cap Hill, just five blocks from Cheesman Park.

This fifth floor corner unit is 1600 square feet with a...
chef’s kitchen, large windows providing incredible natural light and city views, a private balcony, a large open floor plan living space, and an in-unit washer/dryer. There is also a communal roof deck one floor up with a dog washing station, a sitting area, and a gas grill. The condo is a stone's throw from many coffee shops and restaurants, and only blocks from Whole Foods.

The bedroom: The space is 8.5x10 and has a skylight that opens for full ventilation. You would share a bathroom with a double vanity and full shower/tub with Josh. Rent including dedicated garage parking is $1150.

Utilities: Gas/water/sewer/electricity to be split three ways. Internet and trash/recycling included in base rent!

Pets: I have two friendly ragdoll cats, pictured. Sorry, no additional pets, please!

Furnishings: The common space is fully furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped with a Vitamix, food processor, stand mixer, rice cooker, air fryer, nice pots and pans, and most things you’d ever need!

Availability/lease term: 12-month lease beginning July 15.

A bit about me: I am a 30-year-old PsyD student at DU. Most of my time is spent at school or working at local clinics, but in my free time, I enjoy climbing, skiing, backpacking and cooking. I spent my 20s living in Germany and the Bay Area and moved to Denver last year.

Josh: Josh grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and studied journalism in undergrad. Since then, he has worked on and off as a documentary photographer, aid worker, and raft guide. He is finishing his MA in International Disaster Psychology at DU. He loves all things outdoors, but feels most at home on the river. He enjoys exploring new places with his camera and is looking forward to getting to know Denver!

Who we are looking for: We enjoy keeping our home environment clean and relaxing, but we’d like to build community through small social gatherings such as game nights and dinner parties. While we both enjoy our alone time, we’d be excited to share some hobbies and meals together.

Requirements: Credit and background check through the landlord. I am only requiring income verification equivalent to 2x the rent of the individual room, rather than the entire unit itself.
